through Friday afternoon... 
... Lake effect snow warning is cancelled... 

The National Weather Service in Buffalo has cancelled the lake
effect snow warning. 

* Locations... Lewis County.

* Timing... Thursday morning through Friday afternoon.

* Accumulations... snow potentially accumulating two feet Thursday
through Friday in most persistent lake snows.

* Impacts... travel may be difficult at times with snow covered
roads and very poor visibility in bands of heavy lake effect
snow.

Precautionary/preparedness actions... 

A lake effect snow watch means that significant winter weather is
possible in localized areas within the next 36 hours.
