Grapefruit Honey Ale * brewed on Sun, May 4 * bottled on Sun, May 18. produced 8 bottles. ** i disliked the taste because of the grapefruit, but DD likes grapefruit, so all is well. maybe we'll try this recipe again with a different fruit, such as the Mackinaw Peach. ** we drank a bottle on Jun 4, and it tasted fine. the strong grapefruity taste must have subsided during bottling. the fruity taste exists, but it's mild, and acceptable to me. i like the wit beer better though. h3.
