The thread "Severe Weather - 6/12/2013":http://toledotalk.com/cgi-bin/tt.pl/article/154446/Severe_Weather_-_6122013 takes a while to load with all the images, so I'm posting this here, but this is related to a "comment":http://toledotalk.com/cgi-bin/tt.pl/article/154446#154993 in that thread. The National Weather Service provides a mobile Web version of their content built with "jQuery Mobile.":http://jquerymobile.com/ * "NWS - Toledo Express Airport - Mobile Web Version":http://mobile.weather.gov/index.php?lat=41.61&lon=-83.8 But I've been testing my own version here: * http://toledotalk.com/weather It's a simple set of static HTML pages that are also displayed by using jQuery Mobile. It contains the weather info that interests me the most. It's a very basic display. Several scripts run in batch and execute at regular intervals that parse multiple NWS XML files and HTML pages and download NWS images. It's possible that something will still break, and you'll see a blank page. More error checking will be added. The page should display similar to below. The home page does not refresh automatically yet. !http://farm4.staticflickr.com/3734/9139517430_5f742ac588.jpg! #weatherapp - #weather - #jquery - #blog_jr
