** *Sep 25 update:* Nicolai called me back, and we scheduled a visit for Tue, Sep 30, between 10:30 11:00 a.m.
** *Sep 30 update:* Nicolai stopped out around 11:00 a.m. to take measurements and to look at the underside of the roof in the attic. he gave me a folder of the materials that he uses. he also got on the roof and took measurements.
