Mid-day walk, Mon, Mar 16, 2015

Barney and I went for about 40-minute walk around lunch time. Cloudy sky. Temps around 60 degrees. Little to no wind. Mostly dry. A few snow piles.

Birds obs: 

* COGR, I think my first of 2015
* AMRO, several heard, and two males foraging on  a lawn.
* a couple flocks of Canada Geese flying north in v-shaped patterns. 
* heard signing:
** ETTI
** NOCA
** HOFI

Heard BCCH singing near our backyard earlier today.

During our walk, Barney got warm and thirsty. He chewed or licked some lawngrass, which was a first in a few months. He still has his long hair. I'll wait until April to get him groomed. The weather cools off after today.
