breeman referred to the tamales sold from the food truck that is parked  on Saturday morning's at the Toledo Farmers Market. I have not tried those either.

I was referring to the Mexican bakery, located at the corner of Maumee and Broadway, near Western, and I believe 6th_Floor and ToledoLatina were also referring to this bakery.

After Gloria's tamales closed a few years ago, I tried tamales at other local Mexican restaurants, and I disliked them. Therefore I quit trying and stuck with the simple pork taco with cilantro and onion.

Anyway, I heard that the tamales sold at this bakery were scrump, but it's a secret, so don't tell anyone.
