I watch _The Wire_ over Amazon Prime. That's about all the help that I can provide. We use Roku to stream TV over the internet.

The only "shows" that I watch on regularly-scheduled television is the  NFL and the "Create":http://createtv.com channel, and I watch both over-the-air with an indoor antenna.
