Grilled cheese vs cheese toastwich

Grilled cheese?  That's an odd name, unless it's cheese melting on a gas or charcoal grill.

I first learned about grilled cheese when I was a senior in high school.  That's because we didn't call it grilled cheese.

The local name for that sandwich in eastern Ohio is cheese toastwich.  That's a much better description than grilled cheese.

And we dip it into ketchup, which for some reason, freaks people out who live outside eastern Ohio.
