On Fri evening, Jan 22, 2016, my wife and I along with our next door neighbors K and B went out for the evening. 

We ate dinner at Ya Halla's, located on Alexis in West Toledo. K and B eat their often. It was our first visit, and we will definitely go back. Good food.  It's an old, renovated downtown Toledo theatre.

Then we went to Manhattan's in Uptown Toledo for drinks and their excellent fried goat cheese curds. Local farm, Turkey Foot Creek, supplies their goat cheese, which I purchase at the downtown Toledo farmers market on Saturdays.

K, B, DD, and I ate dinner at Element 112.

Palette cleanser was a fried goat cheese thing

First course crispy pork belly and orange marmelade and pickled onions and micro greens.

Main course rabbit ragu - nature bounty - potato gnocchi 

Dessert was chocolate fudge and micro peanut crust.  Ice cream.
