It's now July 2017, and apparently, the Boo Ben Konop heckling that occurred eight years ago still lives on. Or it's memorialized.

This is the June 2009 YouTube video posted above. Even Ben cannot  keep from laughing, at least initially. The heckler's monotone voice probably makes it a classic.

With the popularity of social media today, I'm guessing that the video would have spread faster and wider.

If anyone has satellite radio and listen's to foxsports...the morning show is steve czaben. last friday they spent the entire show laughing and mocking the boo ben boo clip...it was quite funny...

br. I'm unfamiliar with Czaban, but one of my brothers who lives in the southeast U.S. likes to listen to the Steve Czaban sports radio show.

Apparently for Czaban's show,  he annually celebrates the second day after the Major League Baseball All-Star Game by proclaiming it to be "Boo Ben Konop" day.  

Czaban described the special occasion as:

br. And until Czaban's Jul 13, 2017 show, I did not know that South Park spoofed the Boo Ben Konop heckling. It's Boo Wendy, but Cartman drops a quick mention of Boo Ben at the end.

br. The Boo Ben incident closed out a hilarious  and raucous decade of Toledo politics that was more interesting than this decade, assuming that local  politics can be entertaining.
