Can the surrounding communities afford three more years of Collins?

Last winter, Collins "helped" the sheriff issue the county-wide Level 3 snow emergencies, which impacted area businesses. Of course, it was all for our own safety, except when the Jeep plant needed to get back to work.

Polar vortexes and snow emergencies. Long ago, we called it "winter," and we used common sense to deal with it. Now we need fear-mongering rhetoric, and the government to help us cope with cold weather.

And as mentioned often here, the alleged water crisis caused an economic hit on many businesses, except in Oregon, including those located in northern Wood County and southern Monroe County.

The best recall effort will be in 2017 at the September primary and/or the November general elections.

Remember, voter turnout for last September's primary was 15 percent, and the turnout in November was 25 percent.

The voter turnout for the Toledo mayoral election has declined with each election.

I'm guessing that in November 2017, Toledo's voter turnout for the mayoral and city council at-large election will be around 20 to 22 percent.

It's simply not a concern for the majority.

My November 2013 comment :

In the fall of 2005, Opal Covey told Toledoans:

"I'm warning you, if you don’t change this government to God’s government, destruction will come, just as it did in New Orleans."

I don't know what God's government is, but academia could debate what's worse between Katrina aftermath and Toledo government. Obviously, one is more long-term than the other.
