Late November 2014 weather
Around 8:00 a.m. today, Mon, Nov 24, 2014, no outages were reported in the Toledo area. But at 1:45 p.m., numerous power outages have been reported.
Great Lakes November weather.
- Sat, Nov 22, 2014:
- morning temps were in the mid to upper 20s with freezing rain and 1 to 2 inches of leftover snow cover.
- temps warmed to the upper 40s and low 50s by late afternoon and evening.
- it turned out to be a comfortable day for the farmers market, Maker's Mart, and Holiday Loop art tour.
- Sun, Nov 23:
- hi temp at TOL was 58 degrees.
- light wind. dry. pleasant afternoon for yard work.
- Mon, Nov 24:
- temps at daybreak were in the mid 50s.
- heavy rain moved through Toledo between 7 and 8 am.
- at least one-inch of rain fell between 6 pm Sun and 8 am Mon.
- at 9am, a severe thunderstorm warning was issued for Ottawa and Sandusky counties.
- temps warmed to the upper 50s by late morning.
- then the cold front moved through shortly after 12 pm, and by 1 pm, Toledo temps dropped into the mid 40s.
- TOL temp at 11:52 am = 58
- TOL temp at 12:52 pm = 46
- wind speeds have increased throughout the day, especially between 12 and 1 pm. at a little before 1 pm, TOL recorded a wind gust of 59 mph.
