Toledo's august 2014 water issue is still discussed in march 2015

of course, the ice on lake erie is or will be breaking up soon, so i'm sure the media will be in boats on lake erie in April scooping up glasses of water to see if its green even though the algae won't start forming until the end of june or early july. and at that time, for sure, the media will be out in boats to be the first to break a story about the first signs of green death.

I don't care who was mayor last August, but these two City of Toledo inactions were reprehensible and indefensible:

• failure to notify area hospitals
• failure to notify the other communities that receive Toledo water

I assume that procedures or protocols now exist to avoid the above issues if a similar event occurs in the future.
