The first candidates forum or debate is scheduled for Wed, Sep 23, 2015 from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. It will be sponsored by The Blade and the University of Toledo.

The debate will occur at UT without an audience.

For viewers, it will be an internet-only debate, live-streamed at toledoblade.com and somewhere on YouTube.

Opal Covey was not invited to participate.
