Wrong.

valbee's 2014 post made on Nov 14. Thanksgiving was Nov 27.

Just arrived in my office to discover a flyer on my desk for this year's Calphalon warehouse sale, and knew others here would be interested.

The store will be operating out of the old Giant Eagle store on Central. Hours of operation are 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. unless otherwise indicated:

Last year, the sale was announced before Thanksgiving, but it appears that the first day for the sale occurred after the holiday.

Apparently, no such sale occurred in 2013, according to this Nov 14, 2014 comment made by gamegrrl:

I was JUST LAST NIGHT lamenting the fact that there wasn't one last year ...

2010 Toledo Talk thread about the Calphalon sale started by Anniecski on Fri, Nov 19. Thanksgiving was November 25.

Calphalon is having their warehouse sale this weekend at Southland Shopping Center [corner of Byrne and Glendale]. I thought I'd swing by on my lunch hour and see about picking up a new frying pan. The line was out the door and down the length of the shopping center! It was amazing!

In 2010, the sale-buying began before Thanksgiving.

It appears like an every other year event, according to the Toledo Talk threads, but a Nov 19, 2010 comment by INeedCoffee said:

In 2010, it seems that that sale lasted only one extended weekend: Fri Nov 19 through Mon, Nov 22. Blurry photo of the Calphalon sale ad in the Toledo Blade.

In 2014, the sale occurred over two weekends.
