Because the area defined by this Mesoscale Discussion (MD) includes part of the County Warning Area (CWA) that is covered by the Cleveland National Weather Service, and the Cle NWS covers Lucas County.

At the bottom of MD #4 is this:

attn...wfo...bgm...buf...ctp...pbz...cle...

When the Storm Prediction Center (SPC) issues an MD, my code searches the MD for "cle" and if found, it gets displayed. My code also searches for mentions of the Northern Indiana and Det/Pon NWS offices in the MDs.

I could limit what I display by using the latitude and longitude info that's also included at the bottom of each MD, which, I assume, is used to define the area covered by the MD. At the bottom of #4 is this info:

lat...lon 41227933 41647982 42147981 42727888 42957774 42777640 42477598 41607601 41077676 40777754 40777838 41227933

But I have not taken the time to try to code it. I have never even attempted to plot those coordinates to see what it produces.

The SPC issued MD #4 at 2:39 p.m. EST. Usually, they are not up this long.
