I don't know what the definition is for "Toledo's downtown urban core."

Does "downtown Toledo" include Main Street in East Toledo?

The coalition comprises leaders of several prominent businesses and organizations including: ProMedica, Owens Corning, HCRManorCare, Fifth Third Bank, Huntington Bank, Libbey, Inc., the Toledo Zoo, the Toledo Museum of Art, and the Toledo Chamber of Commerce.

The Toledo Zoo is not located in downtown Toledo.

These branding names can be confusing. Some branding names include all of Toledo, Lucas County, or Metro Toledo.

Metro Toledo or the Toledo Metropolitan Statistical Area (MSA) includes the counties of Fulton, Lucas, Ottawa and Wood.

But the Toledo "area" must include southern Monroe County.

Some branding initiatives reach further by including a large part of northwest Ohio, such as Toledo Region.

Lake Erie West includes northwest Ohio and southeast Michigan.

A time-based strategy, the epicenter of Lake Erie West is the crossroads of America - the intersection of I-75 and I-80/90 (the nation's busiest), and the region includes everything within a one-hour drive from that center.

The LEW initiative has existed since at least 1993.

419 includes a decent-sized geographical area.
