"Perhaps people should enforce more foresight than knee jerk reactions."
The irony ...
No need to pile on or go into details, but a valid reason existed for his account being deactivated here two years ago. No apologies for that.
But GZ helped push Toledo Talk along by participating in many threads in the site's early days. He was one of the site's earliest posters.
I was always grateful for his interests and passion to post at a local message board. That's why I was more lenient with him in later years.

I think that GZ posted with the "Guest" account in 2004 if not earlier.
This site started in January 2003. In March 2003, I removed all barriers to posting.
You no longer have to create an account and be logged into Toledo Talk to post topics to the front page and submit comments to existing topics. The default account for a person who is not logged into [Toledo Talk] is Guest. As a Guest user, a person can submit a comment and it will appear immediately on the website.
Having the site wide open like that was done to encourage more participation.
In old threads, you will see a lot of comments by the Guest account, but obviously, multiple people were posting as Guest. Naturally, this became confusing as the site became more active.
I think that at times, people would reply to a Guest post by saying something like, "To the second Guest user" or "to Guest one". This may have been how GZ chose his username.
In February 2005, I disabled the wide-open Guest posting account. Users needed to create a username. That's when GuestZero created his account.
GZ's description on his profile page:
I'm the type of guy that no established news outlet ever wants to hear from, and whose words never get the opportunity to appear if some establishment weenie has his way about it. I'm socially liberal, fiscally conservative, and can plainly see that the USA is an Empire that is decaying into an outright Fascist state. I'm angry, I'm armed, and for all the vicious cowards around, I'm dangerous to the status quo as well as the end point of social decay. The tree of American liberty is going to be watered with the blood of patriots once again; it's inevitable.
I'll stop by on Saturday to acknowledge a unique individual.
