I made a feeble attempt to stay on topic.

From a December 2015 Blade story :

Other websites focused on Hickey's issues.

But the content that contained the allegations and information is gone. Why?

Why would content be removed if it was true?

Back in September, I was on reggie's side, and I wanted the Blade to investigate further, especially when Toledo city clowncilwoman Lindsey Webb supported Hickey.

Why should reggie go away? Ignore the thread if you are uncomfortable.

I hope that the Blade digs in. Better tell the Blade to go away. Good luck with that. They have lawyers too.

Hickey self-destructed, and he resigned. It was obvious that he was doomed when a Toledo politician supported him.

And thus far, the other allegations against Hickey have been unfounded. Again, why did the websites that advanced these allegations scrub their content?

I assume that terrikern.wordpress.com, hickeyleaks.org, hickeyleaksagain.wordpress.com, and makingapredator.com also heard the info from good sources, but the information is gone.

I know that links exist, but it's not my responsibility to post them when others raise the issue.

This whole WLS spectacle is demented. Both sides are scary wackos.

Maybe I simply don't want this crap posted on a site that I fund.

Go elsewhere. Chris at SwampBubbles continues to monitor the subject.

Or start your own website and have at it.

Obviously, others did start websites, but their allegations were deleted.

If your end goal is bringing out the truth about Hickey, focus on him. All these side stories obscure and detract from your end goal.

A few months ago, Nolan investigated a rumor or whatever you want to call it, but he proved that the claim was false.

There's no record in circuit or district court in Lenawee County of anything being filed, civil or criminal, this year that lists Patrick Hickey as a party.

The prosecuting attorney, listed on that summons, had no idea what I was talking about when I asked him.

The last Blade story that I could find that focused on Hickey and his WLS issues was published in February 2016.

PH is not Frank Underwood, and JB is not Doug Stamper. In my opnion, the real individuals are not smart enough nor powerful enough to cover something up.

The world will have to wait for the next ephemeral website to pop-up with yet another version of reality.

But that is the key. Others need to conduct their own investigations, file open records requests, interview people, and publish their findings on their own websites. And when that happens, I am sure someone will link to those websites from here.

And if the alternate reality proves to be the true reality, then hey, I'll give congratulations and eat some smoked barbecue crow, Carolina style.
