"... here's hoping a nearby business will sell coffee!"

Kathy's Confections coffee and doughnut shop exists at Bowen and Sylvania. It opened in December. They brew coffee roasted by Flying Rhino. They make their own doughnuts. We like it. We walk to it and many other businesses along Sylvania Ave between Douglas Rd and Elmhurst Rd.

Normally, KC closes at 2:00 p.m. on Saturdays, but I think they will be open longer for Saturday's event.

Walk, bike, drive, or dance your way to the WOW District Fall Festival. Shop from local craft vendors, visit the businesses and restaurants along Sylvania Avenue, try something new from one of the many food trucks, or just enjoy the many activities that will be happening with neighbors, family, and friends.

• 50/50 Raffle: Bethany House, Mobile Meals, Nightingale’s Harvest
• Twin Oaks Cornhole Station
• Kids Train Ride ($2/ride)
• Henna Artist Afreen
• Toledo Fire Truck
• Tour the neighborhood on a pedicab (Tips are cool!)
• Bennett Orchard Pumpkin Patch
• Food Truck Vendors!
• Bowling at Twin Oaks Lanes ($2 per game per person)
• 5 minute chair massages (Tips welcome!)

Noon – 3pm: Toledo Humane Society Pet Adoption
Noon – 2pm: Bring your pups to Clip ’n Dales for a free nail trim
