Browns update on Nov 6, 2016

The Browns are entering historically bad.

The 0-9 start has matched the 1975 Browns for the most losses to start a season for the franchise.

The Browns have now lost 12 straight regular season games, which is a new franchise record.

In the first nine games of this season, opponents have scored 25 or more points in every game against CLE. The last time that happened was with the 1964 Broncos, I think.

I saw this movie last decade when the Lions lost a gazillion games over a two- to four-year stretch. Toledo is bookended by two teams who have never played in the Super Bowl.

Two years ago, the Browns were 7-4 and thinking playoffs. They finished the 2014 season 7-9.

They went 4-12 last year.

Since the 7-4 start in 2014, the Browns have 4 wins and 26 losses.

Yet I would not be surprised to see the Browns win this Thursday night at Baltimore.

Oh in last spring's draft, the Browns selected QB Kessler over current Dallas QB Prescott.

Of course, the Browns passed on Wentz.

Two years ago, the Browns chose Manziel over Bridgewater (Vikings) and Carr who is doing well at Oakland.

And last year, the Browns passed on choosing WR Amari Cooper who is also playing well at Oakland.

In free agency, the Raiders got WR Bridgewater while last year in free agency the Browns got Dwayne Bowe who was a massive bust.

A few years ago, the Raiders were the NFL's dumpster fire. That thing is burning brightly in Cleveland.
