Mayor Hicks-Hudson should have either fired him or suspended him weeks ago. That's a stain of failure on her.

District Councilman Tom Waniewski, running for mayor this year challenging Ms. Hicks-Hudson, praised Mr. Sarantou.

“George is a competent public servant, and I hope he continues in the public service of our great community,” Mr. Waniewski said.

Mmm. It's possible that Tom and I disagree.
