the national weather service in cleveland has expanded the
- flood watch to include portions of north central ohio and
northwest ohio...including the following areas...in north
central ohio...erie oh. in northwest ohio...lucas...ottawa...
sandusky and wood.
- through friday morning
- the ground is saturated from the rain wednesday and wednesday
night. an additional inch of rain may occur later on today and
tonight and that may cause some flooding.
- flooding of low lying areas is likely with additional heavy
rain. minor flooding of some rivers and creeks is possible.
precautionary/preparedness actions...
a flood watch means there is a potential for flooding based on
current forecasts. you should monitor later forecasts and be
alert for possible flood warnings. those living in areas prone to
flooding should be prepared to take action should flooding
