The other skein had the same above identical information except it's colored a light purple. I can't find the tag, so I don't have the dye lot number.
From their website:
4 (medium) - Worsted Weight - Size 8 (5.0mm) - 17sts/21 rows = 4 inches - 4 oz / 250 yds per skein
3 (light) - DK Weight - Size 6 (4.0mm) - 22sts = 4 inches - 1.75 oz. / 120 yds per skein
1 (super fine) - Fingering Weight - Size 2 (2.75mm) - 32sts/40 rows = 4 inches - 1.6 oz / 230 yds per skein
I wonder if a wool necktie would be better with the 3 or even the 1. The 1 might be too thin. I did not notice the other sizes at the store.
