New Year Beer - One Gallon Batch
This was a recipe from their book titled Beer Making Book
- it's a Belgian wit
- brewed on Sun, Apr 27, 2014
- bottled on Tue, May 13, 2014. produced 8 bottles.
- according to the book, it's suppose to have an 8.0% ABV.
Ingredients
- Belgian Pilsner malt
- Pale Wheat malt
- Caramel 10 malt
- Munich malt
- Centennial hops
- Tettnanger hops
- coriander seeds
- Amarillo hops
- Belgian Candi Sugar
- peels from two clementines
- DD added 3/4 teaspoon of dried sweet orange peel from brew store
- Belgain ale yeast, Wyeast Belgian Strong Ale, 1388
- honey for bottling
As of mid-June 2014, this is still my favorite of the one-gallon batches that we have brewed.
