Rose-Cheeked and Blonde - One Gallon Batch
Brooklyn Brew Shop - This was a recipe from their book titled Beer Making Book
- Belgian blonde ale
- brewed on May 15, 2014
- during fermentation, a strong, funky smell existed for the first 10 days or so, but it subsided some during the last week.
- bottled on Jun 1, 2014
- produced 9 bottles
- tasted great during bottling
- drank our first two bottles on Jun 14, and it tasted excellent. probably second favorite after the wit. not carbonated well though. maybe it needs more time in the bottle.
- according to the book, it's suppose to have a 6.5% ABV.
Ingredients
- Belgian Pilsner malt
- Cara-pils malt
- Aromatic malt
- Styrian Golding hops
- dried rose hips
- dried rosebuds
- Belgian Candi Sugar
- Wyeast Trappist HG yeast 3787
- honey for bottling
