Don't vote, can't complain?

Intelligent people can occasionally sound like imbeciles.

It's like they say, if you don't vote, you can't really argue with the outcome.

If you don’t vote, then everything bad our government does is your fault, and you don’t get to complain.

Irrational thinking from respected computer programmers.

Non-voters can't complain? Obviously, people who agree with the above sentiments have not heard of our freedom of speech right.

That right does not apply only to voters.

Henry David Thoreau never voted, and he complained a lot about government.

Thoreau's "Civil Disobedience" essay influenced Martin Luther King who fought against oppressions enacted by politicians who were chosen by voters.

Maybe voters have done more harm to this country.

We might be better off if we ignored politics and found a better way to improve our local communities by donating time, money, and resources to local charities and non-profit orgs.
