"Does anyone know who I could contact about the plans for reopening?"
Maybe :
Theresa Pollick, ODOT’s district spokesman in Bowling Green
We are located in ODOT District 2.
It might be possible to contact an ODOT person via their Facebook or Twitter pages:
ODOT info:
- Anthony Wayne Bridge Project
- "Work includes redecking the bridge, replacing the existing truss end spans, rehabilitation of the existing substructures, new street lighting and rebuilding the sidewalks, railings and fence."
- pdf file
- "Replacing the bridge deck, sidewalks, railings, lighting, fencing and expansion joints."
Sep 1, 2015 Blade story titled Anthony Wayne Bridge’s overhaul nears the finish line :
ODOT: Span 90% complete; agency eyes Nov. reopening... but there’s still much to be done before the Anthony Wayne Bridge reopens to traffic. A median wall must be built; railings, guardrails, safety fences, and streetlights must be installed, and a variety of other finishing touches need to be applied before the bridge, which closed on St. Patrick’s Day last year, is ready to go, project officials said during a media tour.
I assume that street lighting is different from the decorative bridge lighting.
