Toledo area weather for early December 2013

My Dec 5, 2013 comment at ToledoTalk.com

Do you mean ice falling as in sleet or ice accumulating on objects?

I'd be surprised if liquid precip is freezing on objects, since Toledo area temps at 8:00 p.m. range between 34 and 36 degrees.

Plus objects, such as roads and walkways, should still be a bit "warm" from our mild temps over the past couple days.

Our temps were in the upper 50s yesterday, and our temps were still in the upper 50s at 5:00 a.m. today. The temps rose last night. The official high temp today (Dec 5) at Toledo Express Airport was 61 degrees, which occurred at about 2:00 a.m. By Noon, however, the temperature had dropped to 38 degrees.

The winter issues seem to be a little south and east of Toledo.

tol should only see an inch or less [of snow].

The Toledo area forecast for the next seven days is wintry at least temperature-wise. But it's now winter. The meteorological calendar starts the seasons on the first day of the month, so winter began on December 1st.
