Oct 2015 - tablet vs phone for media
Maybe this is not a truly indicative story about consumer's preference for using a phone over a tablet for reading media content, but it's possible that the inference can be made.
I don't use a tablet. Two devices: phone and laptop/desktop. I could understand a book hound using a Kindle reader, since the device displays text in all light conditions better, and the Kindle's battery life is longer.
Over the past couple years, it seems that consumers have cooled on tablets because the phones have grown in size.
Why would a user own an iPhone 6-plus and an iPad Mini?
I could see owning a larger tablet if it replaces the laptop. Two devices: phone and large tablet with Bluetooth keyboard.
