preseason rankings are moronic, but that's the system that currently exists.

amazingly, undefeated ohio state has yet to play a ranked team. at the moment, the buckeyes are scheduled to play two ranked teams with their remaining schedule.

the buckeyes, only two ranked teams on their entire regular season schedule.

one-loss alabama has already played FIVE ranked opponents. again, according to preseason rankings, those teams were ranked when alabama played them. Five so far, and alabama plays number six this weekend. ohio state, still zero.

notre dame has played three ranked opponents, and one more ranked opponent remains on its schedule.
