Jan 9, 2014 Toledo Weather
Toledo area temps were below zero again this morning. The local airports reported:
- Express: -7
- Executive: -4
- Suburban: -6
This will be the end of the cold weather for a while.
But before the warm-up and rain begin on Friday afternoon, we may have a little winter weather tonight and early Friday morning.
Tonight: Snow likely before 3am, then a chance of snow and freezing drizzle. Cloudy, with a temperature rising to around 28 by 5am. South wind around 7 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New snow accumulation of 1 to 2 inches possible.
Friday: A chance of rain, snow, and freezing drizzle before noon, then a chance of rain. Cloudy, with a high near 39. South wind 8 to 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.
From the Cle NWS:
As the region warms into the weekend, a combination of snow melt and rainfall up to an inch will cause an increasing threat for ice jam flooding on area creeks and rivers.
