...it will be another windy day across northern ohio... .some of
the wind gusts especially this afternoon will approach 50 mph.
the cause of the gusty winds will be because of the passage of a
cold front and the mixing down of the strong winds just above the
surface.

• winds...southwest 15 to 30 mph with gusts between 45 and 50
  mph.

• timing...mainly this afternoon.

• impacts...the gusty winds will blow around loose objects and
  some limbs and possible a few power lines could get knocked
  down. drivers of high profile vehicles will have to use
  caution.

precautionary/preparedness actions...

a wind advisory is issued when sustained winds are forecast to be
31 to 39 mph or gusts will range between 46 and 57 mph. winds of
these magnitudes may cause minor property damage without extra
precautions. motorists in high profile vehicles should use
