Areal Flood Advisory
Issued: 10:18 PM EDT Jul. 30, 2016 – National Weather Service

The National Weather Service in Detroit/Pontiac has issued a

  • Flood Advisory for...
    Lenawee County in southeastern Michigan...
  • until 115 am EDT
  • at 1011 PM EDT... Doppler radar indicated pockets of heavy rain due
    to thunderstorms. This will cause minor flooding in the advisory
    area. National Weather Service radar estimates that up to three
    inches of rain have already fallen in several locations. Rainfall
    rates of up to one inch per hour will remain possible in localized
    areas over the next few hours. The heaviest rainfall as of 10 PM
    is occurring near Adrian and also west of Onsted. Storm motion is
    slow and erratic... so some areas will receive more torrential
    rainfall through midnight.
  • Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Adrian... Tecumseh... Blissfield... Morenci... Clinton... Hudson...
    Onsted... Deerfield... Addison... Britton... Cement City... Clayton...
    Rollin... Palmyra... Fairfield... Springville... Ridgeway... Macon...
    Riga and Seneca.

rainfall.
