Wtol wrong neighborhood story

As of 4:30 p.m. today, Feb 13, WTOL or Toledo News Now has not corrected their story. The incorrect story title also still appears on the homepage of their site.

I can understand making a mistake, but it should have been corrected by now, 17 hours after the story was first published. And as toledolen_ indicated, "Olde Towne" appears on the map image that WTOL used with their story.

From the time stamps for the WTOL story:

Police investigate shooting in Old West End
Posted: Feb 12, 2014 11:22 PM EST
Updated: Feb 13, 2014 8:02 AM EST

A commenter posted to that story at approximately 1:00 a.m. today (15 hours ago), pointing out the mistake.

It might be best to leave neighborhood names out of a story to reduce mistakes and confusion.

According to the WTOL story:

A call came in around 11 p.m. Wednesday of a person shot on Fulton Street, near Cherry.

The red oval indicates where the shooting supposedly occurred, Fulton near Cherry.
