A local official will probably claim that Toledo could become the Silicon Valley or the Saudi Arabia of lead inspectors.
Also from today's Blade story:
“We do have a lead problem in the city, and I am trying to address it,” Mr. Ludeman said.
Lead paint in old dwellings has been an issue for decades. Ludeman has been on Toledo city council for decades. He was first elected to clowncil in 1993.
The most successful path to failure is a politician trying to solve a problem.
