Of course, the Black Cloister opens at 4:00 p.m. No "Marty" (Belgian blonde) at the moment. I'll stick with their wit until the next Marty is available.

I assume that the Paula Brown Shop will be open.

TIME TO CLEAN UP!

On April 17 at 5:30 PM, in partnership with Great Lakes Brewing Company, the Village on Adams will host a street-wide clean up. Stop by after work on Friday and we promise to make it worth your while.

Every volunteer who comes out and picks up trash, rakes out a garden, or helps us move around some dirt for a couple hours will be invited to a party sponsored by Great Lakes Brewing as part of their 2015 Green Tour.

In addition to a generous donation to the Village on Adams for one of our new parks, Great Lakes will provide entertainment, swag, drink tickets, and an amazing spread of food from the Attic, Ottawa Tavern, The Moxie, and Manhattan's for a volunteer-only party at Manhattan's on April 19th from 6 - 9 PM.

BUILDING PARTNERSHIPS THROUGH TASTY BEVERAGES

April 18th and 19th, the Village on Adams will be providing the bar at Artomatic 419! We've always loved the Arts Commission, but now we finally get why they love us. It's clearly the booze.

Saturday, April 18th, from 7 - 10:30 PM, we'll be fitting in where we get in and matching our drinks to the decor. From the 1st Floor of One Lake Erie Center's Tiki Bar, we'll be serving up Tiki-inspired drinks. $6 will get you a delicious tropical cocktail created by bartenders from Village on Adams bars.

Sunday, April 19th, from 11 - 2 PM, we'll be serving up mimosas and a Glass City Bloody Mary at Brunchomatic, a one-of-a-kind brunch fundraiser. Our Bloody Mary is made with all fresh herbs and juices, basil from Toledo Botanical Garden, house-cured bacon and prosciutto dust from Manhattan's Chef Ian Regent, Lemons in the Attic bitters from Toledo Spirits, soft pretzel bites from All Crumbs Bakery, cheese curds from Turkeyfoot Creek, and pickles and peppers from Tony Packo's.

CORPORAL MAX KLINGER SPORTSBALL COMPLEX

On April 19th at 3 PM, we'll be opening the first of a series of upcoming parks on Adams Street. Located at the corner of Adams & 13th, Corporal Max Klinger Sportsball Complex will feature a 60-foot oyster-shell sand bocce court, a 5-on-5 soccer/flag football field, and planted seats planted with herbs and edibles provided by Toledo Botanical Gardens and the Collingwood Community Garden.

We'll probably be there all day tossing bocce balls, but from 3 to 4 PM, we'll be available to talk to press there.

MAKER'S MART

Maker's Mart is a semi-annual, one-day indie art & craft fair presented by Handmade Toledo. The juried fair features handmade goods and artisanal food made by independent crafters, makers, and artisans, creating a unique shopping experience in the heart of Toledo, Ohio.

April 18th, 2015 from 10 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
April 19th, 2015 from 11 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
